December 10

I haven't posted in a very long time.  I have been super busy with work and school.  Finals are this week, thank god it is almost over.  Since I last wrote, we have had alot going on.  There was Thanksgiving.  And Erik and I had our 10 month-a-versary on the 9th, which I thought the 9th was the 8th so I was thinking that our month-aversary was Friday when it was Thursday lol.  I am a little scatter brained right now.

I have been really stressed lately.  I can tell because I am having these weird dreams about the stuff I am stressed about lol.  None of which are school related and you would think that that is what I would be stressed about lol. 

Christmas is coming us soon!  Which means the year is coming to an end.  This year has flown by oh so fast!  I am excited about 2011.  We are going to have alot going on.  And we also get all of our vacation time back yaaaay!  Plus Erik and I both get an extra week.  So he is going to have one more week off than me.  I wonder what he will do while I am at work lol.  

November 12

Its Friday!!!  Woot.  So excited.  So tired at the same time lol.  Erik and I have a bet as to whether or not I can make it into work tomorrow morning at 8 am.  He doesn't think I can, but I know I can (provided that I am not sabotaged).  I need to work as much over time as possible so I will be there :)  If he won the bet, he gets a box of those Christmas Tree Little Debbie Cakes.  If I win, I wanted to get Thor a lion cut, but he veto'd that.  If he was so confident I wouldn't get there, he would have taken it.  So I don't know what to choose as my prize for proving him wrong.  I guess I will figure it out when the time comes,  because it will.  Haha!

Christmas is approaching.  I have ideas of what I am getting/making everyone.  Now I just have to do it. 

School is almost over.  I am officially out of steam.  My brain has been liquefied.  I am over it!  And on that note, its time to study and get to bed so I can get up and be at work at 8 am!

November 5

Today is my god mothers birthday!  Happy Birthday Cindy!  Shes at a show now showing her little puppy Princess Penny.  Penny won 3 ribbons.

I worked some on a paper for anatomy today.  blah....  I am so burnt out with school.  Its so hard to stay motivated.  I am counting down the days to Thanksgiving!!!!!!  We will be off 5 days!  It is going to be so awesome!  Except I will be dragging along my anatomy book. 

I got the cuuutest ribbon for my ribbon hobby.  Its got little cupcakes on it.  I already made one for this persons friends little girl.  I hope she likes it. 

October 24

Whew what a night!  Last night was the annual epic halloween party.  I had the worst hangover ever today!  My head hurt so bad I wanted to cry!  But it was sooo much fun!  I dressed up as Rosie the Riveter and Erik was a WWII soldier.  It was cute :).   My friend and I made 272 jello shots for the party!  Apparently all of them were eaten last night.  Which is good... and kinda bad at the same time lol.  There were like 45 people at the party!  It was so exciting.  But I ended up passing out at about 145 in my friends bed lol.

We saw that play at Barter.  The Woman in Black.  It was pretty good. 

Mid terms are next week.  YUCK!  I dont know why, but this semester seems to be the worst one as far as being motivated and willingness to study.  I am just so sick of it.  So I guess I better get my nose back in a book and be studying... blah.

October 10

Today is 10/10/10 lol. 

I am so thankful for the life I am lucky enough to have.  I am so in love.  As of yesterday, we have been together for 8 months.  It seems so short, but I feel like I have known Erik my whole life.  I am so so lucky and thankful to know what real love feels like. 

Time flies, that is for sure.  I cannot believe it is October already!  I still am in September mode.  Before we know it it will be 2011.  

We went out to eat and went bowling with a couple of friends list night.  It was alot of fun!  I haven't been bowling in years.  I lost all 3 games but it was still alot of fun.  I am not sure if Erik won a game either.  But we all had fun so that is what is important.

Oh, and we on tickets to go see a play at Barter Theater!   I am excited.  We are going next week.  We are seeing "The Woman in Black".  I am excited about it.  I will write and let you know how it was.   

I gotta run into work on my day off today *yuck*.  I should go work some overtime.  Buuuut -- I like not working lol. 

September 26

It has been a long time since I posted.  Sorry.  This has been a busy few weeks.  School is into full swing.  I am beginning to get overwhelmed.  I had a meeting with my advisor and it was not very reassuring.  :( I am beginning to wonder if I have what it takes to get through nursing school. 

Last weekend was Erik's little nieces 2nd birthday.  She is such a cutie.  And boy did she have a great birthday!!  I will try to figure out how to upload pictures up on this thing. 

So it turns out all that feeling bad and tired and stuff is actually walking pneumonia.  Well, I was actually tested for that and mono.  But I know it is walking pneumonia because I have had it so many times before.  I feel like I am handling it better this time.  I went on feeling bad for about 3 weeks before I finally went to the doctor.  But he gave me antibiotics and I am starting to feel a little bit better.  I am still exhausted though.  My doctor wrote me out of work and school til Wednesday.  I am not sure what I am going to do about work though because I am out of sick time.  I mean, I have like 14 hours I can take, but it would be unpaid... and I cannot afford tat of of my check.  I know I need to rest though. 

We had a great weekend.  I am so lucky to have Erik as my fiance.  I cannot wait to marry him.  Every night when I go to bed, I am so so so thankful to know what love really feels like.  And I feel sad for people who don't know what it feels like to truly be loved. 

I am so excited about my schedule as well!  I finally got my schedule switched to Monday through Friday.  It is going to take getting used to but I am very excited about it.  

I guess I am going to try to do something productive til I pass out from exhaustion again.  

September 13

We had a good weekend.  The weekend goes be sooo faaast.  And the work week is so slow lol. 

My brother brought over this awesome monopoly card game.  We played it like 7 times.  I won 3 times lol.  Erik said I cheated lol.  Which I didnt.  He was just mad. 

I am trying to motivate myself to get some things done.  I have felt so run down this weekend.  It is going to be a long semester.  I have a test in a few hours.  I should be in bed lol.  But I am still feeling lousy and cant sleep. 

So much to do!!

September 12

Today turned into another lazy day.  Lol.  We watched the UT game today.  WTF.  That is all I have to say.  Next week, we are going to wear UT shirts.  Maybe that will help them win.  I normally do not care about football.  But Erik likes it and it actually seems pretty fun.  So I am going to try to keep up with it. 

I finally finished my Medical Terminology homework today.  It took me 3 hours to finish!!  I could not believe that.  So now I still have all of my anatomy homework to do.  Yuck.  It is never ending.  Well that is until the semester is over lol. 

Work week starts tomorrow.  woo freakin hoo....

September 11

Today was a lazy day.  We had to run a couple errands this morning.  I was going to try to go into work to work some over time today.  But I overslept.  I was really tired.  School has worn me out.  When we got home this afternoon, I ran around the house and cleaned.  I have washed dishes like 3 times today lol.  There is still a load in there waiting on me lol.  I did homework for 2 hours today on ONE SUBJECT!!  And I am still no where near done.  My brother came over with a monopoly card game.  It was alot of fun. 

September 9

I decided to start a blog.  I do not have much to say, but I thought it would be fun. 

School started last week.  I am been super busy with that and work.  Erik has been great about encouraging me with school.  I have been having nothing but trouble from school so far this year.  My financial aid is screwed up and I have the worst advisor ever.  But I am going to do the best I can with what I have.  I donated some books to the school today for people who cant buy their own.  I know what it feels like to be panicked about books, so I wanted to help.  I wasnt ever going to use them again anyways (thank god lol). 

Erik and I have been together for 7 months today!  I can hardly believe it.  It feels like we have been together for so long but at the same time it feels so short.  I am so lucky to have him.  He is so wonderful. 

We had a super busy summer.  I enjoyed every minute of it. I turned 25 -- eek.  I am getting old.  Erik also celebrated a birthday.  We got to visit Eriks family in Nashville.  That was alot of fun.  I hope we get more chances to go visit. 

Today was a good day.  Our weekend starts today... but I will probably go in and work some over time tomorrow.  So I am gonna rest up for another busy day.
